As AgroEcological Natural Capital's Founder and Managing Director Geoff leads the firms investment advisory, development and asset management business. He is an innovator and expert in nature positive land management and farm systems, from a global investment perspective. His expertise is grounded in a combination of deep understanding of nature positive farming strategy and professional agricultural investment, honed over more than 25 years.

Charles is an expert in agroecology, including organic and regenerative agriculture. He has over 30 years experience as both an organic grower and scientist, finding nature-based solutions for sustainable farming. His broad knowledge includes soil health, nutrient management and he is an acknowledged global expert in non-chemical weed management. He is also an expert in all aspects of crop, both annual and perennial, machinery and farm systems.

Dr. John Reid

Head of Te Ao Māori/MRV

John has over 20 years of experience leading research & development projects in the agriculture, forestry and fishing sectors with iwi (Māori tribes), to establish new enterprises and economic models. He is actively developing and pursuing commercialised new sensing technologies for automating sustainability monitoring, reporting and verification. He leads research into nature-based solutions to attenuate the impacts of climate change, declining biodiversity and diminishing water quality.

John has developed and worked using several economic models, including the Lincoln Trade and Environment Model, Aglink and the Long Agricultural Outlook Model. He has worked for end-users such as: OECD, DEFRA, MFAT, MPI, CCC, Synlait, Fonterra, ANZCO and DairyNZ. His areas of expertise include international trade modelling, climate change, weed and pest management and long-term agricultural modelling.
